I hope to make you proud someday So you can say “that’s our girl” I’m not doing so well at the minute But one day I’ll be on top of the world And you will be there with me You and granddad both I promise you that, this day And that’s a solemn oath You are like the sun above Spreading warmth where you go That warmth is guidance, love, and care And thanks to you I’m never cold When I was a little girl I wanted to grow up just like you I’m happy to say that now I don’t For there could be no other like you I hope this poem makes you happy In years from this day Just to let you know I love you And have a happy mother's day Click to purchase Print 70084 0 Other Author Poems With you always Waiting...
