A MOTHER'S LAST WISH
No more tears, my Mother saidAs I bowed my head, my head in my handsNo more tears, my Mother saidKnowing the truth, knowing what's to comeNo more tears, my Mother saidHolding back her tears, as mine began to flowNo more tears my Mother saidClosing her eyes, resting her headNo more tears, she would've saidWith me sitting beside her, holding her handNo more tears I thought, knowing she's here,Here along side me, watching over meNo more tears was her wishNo tears of fear, but tears of joyNo more tears, I remember her sayVery peaceful and still in her bed she lay
