MY SON
Interesting, our relationshipPeople talk about its odditiesYet, it's not extraordinary at allFor its seething in its very normal qualitiesThe authentic sting of your silenceIs very pungent, quite cutting and poignantly powerfulI wonder why we ever beganThis quiet association which has become profusely mournfulPerhaps it's because you don't realize how I admire youMaybe it's because I smother you, due to my lonelinessYou're young, yet time seems shorter for meBut you have your own, I realize you need to be freeI have guided you, with steady hands, to the best of my capacityI have counseled you with abstruse sincerityYou can't deny your dormant tenacityWhat little you've let me provide has been met with complex adversityMaybe, you don't love me anymore?Perhaps, you can't...?Could it be..., you never did?I miss what we were becoming, I miss you and I want my son back.
