TURNING 40
life's meant to start at forty,or so they all seem to saythirty-nine, three.six.four daysforty's just one day awayonly 20 years till pension day, nagging in the queuea loaf of breads gone up 3pthat's all it seems to do wrinkles all around your face, hair greying, recently dyed, brought up in the swinging 60'sthe truth may be denied.why does forty sound so oldwhy does everyone pretendthat they are only twenty-one(plus another nineteen)!
