MY MOM
Wings wrapped tightly around me from the cold,Snuggled deep within her mortal sole,Growing one day at a time,Her courage some day will be mine. Her smile warming my every day,Watching me grow, and watching me play.Eyes of wisdom words of love,Silently she whispers from the wings of a dove,Grow strong my child, I hear her say,For the day will come you will be on your way.Stand tall, be kind, leave all mistakes of yesteryear behind. When things become so unkind,Thoughts of her come to mind,Her eyes, her smile, her silly ways,Bring the sun to brighten my day.For God has chosen her for there was no other,I'm so proud you are my mother.Ashlee CallbreaseCopyright ©2004 Ashlee Marie Callbrease
