FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

A cold chill,
Across the back,
You ought to know,
What will happen next.

The lights flash on,
The crowd grows dense,
You lace your shoes,
And get one last stretch.

The Tunnel awaits,
People stomping their feet,
It's time for victory,
It's time for a fight.

You rush onto the field,
With nothing but pride,
You're about to leave it all,
For tonight is Friday Night.
