When God created daughtersHe took very special careTo find the precious treasureThat would make them sweet and fairHe gave them smile of AnglesThen explored the midnight skiesAnd took a bit of star dustTo make a bright and twinkling eyesHe fashioned them from sugar And a little bit of spiceHe gave them a sunny laughterAnd everything that’s niceHe smiled whenHe made daughters,Because he knew he hadCreated love and happinessFor every Mom and Dad
