FOR HER

We were all betrayed by the man we believed.
Taken by surprise and now we suffer our loss
Of a woman, for which we all shall grieve
Oh, how we shall suffer our loss.
Tears shed by those who knew her best.
Tears of joy - she's out of the pain
And finally, peacefully been laid to rest,
Yet in our hearts she remains the same.
They shed tears of grief, she was so dearly loved
And now shall be missed as she watches from above
On us all, a guiding light
That leads you through the darkest nights,
And the service she had, a good way to say goodbye,
To a mother, a grandma, an auntie, a wife.
A friend who no one took for granted and for which they cared,
A woman whose loyalty we wish everyone shared.
A family came together at such a sad time
A shame, this unfairness was too harsh a crime.
The first time in years, they came together as one,
To say goodbye to that special someone.
