FOREVER IN A GOOD-BYE

the goodbye I have dreaded
I couldn't believe it, it couldn't come true
the only thing I ever had wanted, it was special,
it was you.

every day is a goodbye
goodbyes to the mornings waking up knowing we would meet again, goodbye to my smiles, goodbye to my friend.

I now know pain to its full extent
every tear cried, every dream bent.

growing up with you by my side, how am I to grow now when you're not by me, you said you would be with me forever, you lied.

I'm so saddend, so torn
I'm the only rose with no petals
but a thorn.

it feels like its been forever
I just can't lie
its been just like a forever in a
goodbye.
