AUNT MARGARET'S ANGEL
Drifting in the air was a mixture of roses, mixed in with pine from the hard church benches. In the young girl's mouth was still the taste of stale bread, that could not be washed down with the Grape Juice passed out just moments before. The church bells had just finish ringing in the hour, when near the ceiling a beautiful Angel appeared. She had no wings, or halo, but sparkled like a diamond. Her hair was the color of the sun, and her oval eye's matched the sky. In the air was a feeling of warmth, as if a fire had been lit. The Angel did not speak but her thoughts could be read. Stay true to the Lord in the challenges of life still ahead, and there would be another angel walking among us.
