A FALLING STAR
One night, it was so quiet I could have heard a pin drop. In the air was the smell of my Peppermint Gum, mixed in with my roses. Out of the sky from the corner of one of my eyes, I saw something falling. Chills run up and down my spine. Like a clock whose electricity has stopped for just a second in time. My heart skipped a beat. The object was very bright, and its hue was blue. Then I knew just what to do. I made a wish to put the star in a jar.
