Don't tell me you waited to long, You can't believe, You've been deceived, You can't go on. God, He's been there all along, He was knocking, His voice was strong. You heard His call, You thought is was dull. And then there was the lull, All was silent, And you couldn't hear. Then a cruel voice whispered in you ear. You're mine, you little tramp. You thought you stood a chance, You never stole, or killed, or swore. You can't be in hell, You thought. The voice came again, closer this time. Guess who I am, standing close be your side. His evil lood made you squirm, The devil. You muttered in utter shock. That's right! Hissed the thing with the evil eyes. I am the devil the wicked one. His cruel laugh made you cry. And now the time has come to put you aflame, in a fire of torchering shame, You will be mocked by your sins from this day on. And so you burned, But never died. No chance of escape you ever found. Your sins flashed before you, You burned to the ground. You cried out for a savior, But no savior was ever found. You realized something then, that you had never realized before. YOUR SAVIOR your savior come once He died for you He took your sins and all your shame. He rose again, He is alive. THE DEVIL The devils temptations could lead you astray, With evil thoughts inside you, or evil words you say. God is your only refuge for this evil man. Trust in Him, He along can help you stand. YOU You only have one life to live, and one choice to make. Will you live for God, Or for the evil one? The end is near, the choice is yours. Where will you spend your end? In the grave, but never dead? With the devil, The torchers head? Or with the Lord? The one who died, to take your place. The price was paid. The gift is free. Your time is near. Live for ever! EVERLASTING ETERNATY!!!
