Often you feel your faith has gone weak, Though you keep searching-you can't hear Him speak. You gaze towards the east there's a fiery glow, As the sun comes up, the colors begin to show. Orange, pink, purple, blue and gray, It's promising to be another beautiful day. Like a campfire glowing on a starry night. The orange is often the brightest sight. Bringing the softness of a baby's touch, The pink shows through-but not too much. The purple around the sun doesn't promise much loyalty, yet the mountains in the west stand out like royalty. Gray is a color that is often grave. But mixed together it flows like a wave. The blue hides behind the fiery ball, Yet it is truly the one that blends them all. When all the colors begin to glisten, Open your heart it will-listen. You may stand up, shout and rejoice. It is true-you can now hear Gods voice. So the next time you watch the sun rise, Watch with your heart, not just your eyes.
