Speak to me of the sorrows of the heart. And I will listen. For I have known sorrow too. I will not carry the burden for you. And bear it away. For it is not mine to take. But like the rain that falls out of the sky, Replenishing and cool, I could relieve your mind. Temporarily. Speak to me of the fears that haunt at night. And I'll still listen. For I have known fear too. I will not seek out the ghosts for you. And scare them away. For they are not mine to see. But like the sun that shines out of the sky, Enlightening and warm, I will relieve your mind. Temporarily. Speak to me of many things. Your secrets are safe with me. But don't expect me to change your mind. And bring blue skies eternally. The only power to do all that lies still within your very soul. You are the one to decide on that. The only one who should have control. Always.
