O,Grandfather on this day you left us, on this day you despaired us; on this day you were set free from the shackles of life. Now that a year has passed,we have not forgotten you: tears roll down our cheeks or smiles set our faces, For we still weave our threads of azure and red. For we remember you in a special way- the pains and pangs which gripped your heart, the colourful hues of your life. You loved us and your love still exists; your portrait graces our minds. you had dreams and aspirations with us- And we are supposed to fulfil them and not to astray.
