Mother's tears slide down her cheeks, as a valiant life begins to fade. Blind man gropes his way down street, as tumors wrack his painful brain. "There is no work", he heard them say, "So, I hold this cardboard sign, today". "Rehab tells you all the facts, still, a monkey rides my back!" "My home remains an orphanage, 'til I reach a ripened age". Children play so silently, "Daddy's hand did deafen me". A country's heart will weep, today, as bitter hatred sweeps their way. Earth is a mourning place, looking for a peaceful face. Every soul I see today, their pain from them You'll take, I pray.
