When you love, You keep in your heart a special place When you leave, You take it with you, the whole way When you smile, You take the hopes of the world with you When you cry, You carry the pain of the world on your shoulders When you laugh, You bring light with your joy When you yell, You sit in the dark, of a life unfulfilled When you act, You make your words become the difference, When you sit, You leave behind a world of opportunity When you hope, You make the difference for all those around you When you give-up, You lose the dignity you have carried When you try, You take along the expectations of civilizations When you deny, You carry the burden of those ruins When you announce, Your achievement becomes gold-plated When you denounce, You carry the disappointment of that failure When you succeed, You take with you your passion But when you live, You complete the unfinished dream.
