I slowly walked Through unreality Around the inhumanity Before my fate Over all the bodies Past the heartless uniformed men Against the deadly wind Beside no one Since they made me suffer alone Behind the ones that crawl Toward the ones that fall Underneath the filth Below the smoke From a furnace that acts as a grave to thousands Between people that were said not to be the same During all this madness I walked Across a trembling bridge Over a lake of innocent souls Into a building of showerheads In which I know what will come out With no more fears For I have witnessed that the most dangerous thing is what man can do Upon God's hands I leave myself; I am no longer lost I think if I hold my breath a little longer, I may be able to survive this Holocaust
