The steady beeping in my ear Drives me from my slumber Groaning to rise to the side of the bed Then off to the bathroom I lumber. When my duties in there are through On to the kitchen I slip Drawn by the aroma of my first mornings brew Expectantly waiting for the sunrise to clip. Then with Bible text read, a prayer in my heart, A spring in my step, my morning can start. Dressed with my armour, the Comforter dwelling within I'm ready to face the day ahead, with Him I'm going to win!
