Deep, dark recesses of space Travel light speed seems a turtle's pace Silence speaking embodies the air Sharper discernment discloses, He's there Deafening roar in a liquid abode Darkness refusing to break its mode Gripping fright, the soul is laid bare Hearts listening faithfully hear, He's there Arid heat, dehydrated land Blisters erupt from scorching sand Limited life, not willing to share Water of the Word, drink, He's there Damp blackness presses upon the soul Blind desperation engulfs this dark hole Light is sought, stepping with care Eyes wide open see, He's there Flesh-burning cold, frozen breath Lifeless tundra predicting death Sol's glow deceptive, a blinding glare Embracing warmth, feel it, He's there No height, no depth, no forsaken place Need crave God's glory nor seek His face Look, listen, feel, be aware With creation, rejoice, He's already there
