Upon a cross Jesus did die. Individuals around accusing Him. Of crimes He had committed, of begetting dishonor. Voices rose, "Crucify Him!" As the verdict rang. Christ whispered,"Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." Crowning Him with thorns, our sins He bore, and then the nails pounded through His flesh. Immaculate blood purchased our forgiveness. Laying Him in a tomb, they announced His reign was completed. Most believed that Jesus was defeated. Out of sight they failed to understand. He was more then just a mortal man. When three days had passed. His Father called out, Jesus! Never failing to respond, He was delivered from hell and death. We full of sin where delivered and Forgiven!
