WE STAND UNITED IN OR GRIEF
|
| |
We stand here; united in our grief.
Our love for you, for one we will all miss
Love transcends time, hope defeats grief
Good memories of you are the ones we’ll keep.
Memories of better days; of laughter, joy and tears
You made us smile and challenged us to face our fears.
In your last days family and friends gathered round
Reflecting the influence you have had; one so profound.
You r love for us was always shown
Your generosity will always be well known.
Valiant and brave, a gentleman till the end
You tried your best, your family always to defend.
A man of integrity, a gentleman to all
A man of generosity on eagles wings you will soar!
As you sit there, sheltered under God’s wing
We ask of him; Peace to bring.
