A FISHERMANS' DREAM
Chilling on the pier one Friday evening Everyone just hanging out and having fun just drinking some cold ones and Casting our poles out To see who could catch the big oneWe were trying to see who would catch the big fishSo I threw my reel out to see if I could winI just stood there watching everyone whenMy buddy started pulling a big fish inI was the only one that hadn't got a biteAnd everyone was bragging on what they hadAll of a sudden from my pole started to bendIt felt like I had Moby Dick on my pole and he was fighting madSo I started jumping up and down and laughing kind of loudTelling everyone that I got a big one on my poleI began to reel him in but he was putting up a good fightEveryone started cheering me on and winning was now my goalThe fish was putting up such a big fight that it took me and two of my friendsTo help battle that fish and do our best to pull that sucker in It bent my pole way down and I became even more excited thenI almost burst my side laughing about how much trouble this fish had beenI'd never worked so hard to catch the fish of my dreamsThat I reeled on back and started to shake and then humI shouted out "That big fish is almost working me to death"Then it turned out he was no bigger than my thumb
