CREEKSIDE READING
Sometimes when I sit and readat the creeksidethere are ducks and wild geese to feedIt's a very peaceful placefor solitude and personal spaceTime takes you on a magic carpet rideNo cares or woes to hideThe characters in the book are so very real You become a part of them in your imagination holding hands with fascinationAnd as a gentle breeze blows byit lifts the tiny hairs on your armas ants go marching by with no intent to harmYou reach to turn the page and lookat a stray ant running acrossed your bookThere is so much action in this small space and yet peacefulness prevailsIt's amazing what you learnwhen you pay attentionto all of the little details
