VITALITY
A country so proudVoices of prayer mourn, loudAnother bomb landsTwisted by fate, like dessert sandsA torn up cityA lifetime of history lay destroyed, such a pityThe beauty of the flag, covered by ashesStep by step, civilization dashesThe land we sculptured with our loveHe sees it too, the inventor from aboveEvery battle, every stingEvery action which will never make a peasant a kingStanding still is not the answerLike the rhythm of a dancerWaves in the calm, deep oceanMesmerize our motivation like a potionThe price of each delight, and a single grainOur bloodshed, our streets gathered in waneChildren dying insideNo one will confideBut you can’t see through the open roadThe ruins and tears briefly erodeYou don’t want to know, to feel, to hearThat your last breath could be so close, so nearDon’t speak of the little truth you knowBecause every splendor comes with a woe
