GOING OUT FAST
|
| |
Running for my life
Knees high, legs pumping
Terror-filled eyes,
Fearful,
Tears falling.
When had I begun crying?
Then I felt it, that stinging burning pain.
Now I am frantically trying,
Trying in vain
To continue moving, at least until I can hide,
Then I felt another one
Right here in my side.
Then the inevitable happened,
I fell down on my knees,
The pain had past
I am going even lower,
I am going out fast.
