MY DAD
My DadThe only surviving parent I have on earthWhere among all men can one find such a loving dadStretching himself to playing dual roles of The mother I lost to cancer ,and the affectionate dad I so much adoreWhere in the vastness of this earth can one meet a fatherAs understanding, wise,caring,and supportive in times of depression as mineMy mind tells me there is only one man like thatThe first and last born of love, grace,kindness and patienceWhen I feel isolated and at the end of my tetherEven though we though we are oceans apart, he is just a phone call/SMS/E-MAIL away from meAt the end of a stressful day , I looking forward to ringing him , he is my tonicMy dads empathy and advice fuels me onWnen I bleed, his heart also bleeds for meWhen I slow down fail or despair my dad keeps me goingI dont give a toss if everybody abandoned meI dont care two hoots if friends reject or dessert meJust do not take my dad away from me
