LIFE'S MEANING
|
| |
When I look back and measure my past
I see that it's not some thing I can appraise
The long line trailing behind me
Full of memories, emotions, and miracles
A priceless amalgamation of things
That makes life what it is
A rich collage of rapture and joy,
Hurt and pain, confusion and anxiety,
Realization and growth, doubts and belief,
Failures and successes
All falling smoothly in order
As if there's a meaning behind all that happens
A meaning we cannot purchase or attain with earthly things
But a meaning given--offered to use by
A generous loving hand--
A meaning we have to learn to accept,
love, and embrace
THE meaning we should turn to every day
The only meaning of our life.
One and Almighty, Savior and Friend
God. |
