 Poem:

MENTAL LOCKS

Mental Locks
A. W. Nutter

In the dark recesses of your mind
Lay horrors no one wants to find
Secured with chains and mental locks
The keys to insanities building blocks

Painful memories searching for portals
To plague the souls of weakened mortals
Horrifying specter’s waiting to be displayed
Destroying your sanity in an endless tirade

Demons from the past is no illusion
Protect yourself, pray for absolution
Your darkest secrets cannot be exposed
Keep Pandora’s Box tightly closed

john moses freemanGood job AW. I finally got back over there.Lol. The mind can be a cesspool for al manner of Evil when acting on the imaginations. Or a thing of loving grace when we understand that we have an abundant supply of Love from the heart, which is the real power we need to act on. Sincerely, Moses 12/31/2009 10:05:47 PM
Colin FiatPersonal demons must always be kept at bay. The scariest aspect to controlling personal demons is to see your protectively hidden thoughts made real in the uncontrolled actions of others. History is littered with examples of wretched people who were persecuted for unimaginable crimes. Unfortunately this is inaccurate as all these crimes have been imagined a million times over. It is only due to strength of mind that society need only deal with the few who act upon their subconscious demons. Thankfully you and I are but two examples of what it means to be in control of ourselves. Lovely poem. Australia9/5/2009 6:06:01 AM
