WOMAN
When a woman sobs in the middle of the nightCould the man by her bedside feel her pain and dare to wake from his slumber? And even if he would, could it end up her painOf her prolonged unspoken agoniesIf a woman’s fury bursts and yells at the top of her lungsThrowing out venomous amount of contempt, yearnings and frustrationsWould it not be taken against her as a nagger and as a low-breed bitch? If a woman speaks her mind and spills her heart with utmost carePicking the right words, softest voice and with the slightest hint of emotionWould she not be taken for granted as a woman talks about how her ordinary days went?Could he listen with two ears and a full heart? If a woman succumbs to her most treasured weapon of silenceZipping her pain and burying her reasons down to her deepest chambersCould she have at least her fair share of battle?Or would he listen to her silence. And if she was able to have her battleA woman could neither win nor loseFor if she is to win, it would take away the hurt in her knucklesAnd much too soon leaving her empty handed. And if she is destined to lose her battle then it would just be any other ordinary way of losing.Of to be proven wrong, of being too sensitive, emotional, and irrational. What if talk becomes cheap and silence failsCould there be hope for her to break free?Of speaking her mind and pouring her heartWithout shielding away words of contempt and of overreaction.Of just being heard and being loved in spite and despite of.If a woman chooses to feel numb and dare not to thinkDare to forget the pain and goes on living her life without expectationShe still goes on working but with an empty mind and a tired and weary soul.If a woman opt to stop spinning the wheel and dare to leave her painCould she leave without tearing her heart apart?Could she separate her thorns from its roseWithout pricking her soft thumb and without bleedingIf a woman dare to seek for more loveDoes that become her an insatiable soul?If a woman yearns for more appreciationDoes that make her ungrateful? If a woman would want to rekindle passionDoes that brand her as hopeless romantic and unable to resist fixation? What is there left for her to long for without having to shield away from being naïve?If you must care for a womanHear not just to her laughs but also listen her smilesDo not just wipe away her tears but also hug her tightDo not just show the way but be with her along that way.She does not expect for a ripe and full understandingFor you can never know in depth the wells of her souls
