Poem: |
GROWING
|
| |
Year one her head lies on my breast, Nothing to her denied. Year two, the babe reveals the child, Now seldom, ever mild. Year three, and gowing oh, so tall, Year four, and taller still. Year five shows future promise, Year six and off we go. Now seven, can she remember To do the right, not the wrong? Today she will turn twenty. Where has the time all gone?
