 Poem:

MY BELOVED BROTHER

When it all starts to fall apart
And you have no one to turn to.
When the whole world
Turns against you,
And you're so lonely.
When the love you thought you had,
Vanishes before your very eyes.
When your heart is torn and shattered,
And you can't take it no more.
When all you feel is anguish,
And all your hope is gone.
When you get tired of holding on,
And you just want to let go.
When you think it couldn't get any worse,
And you begin to slip away.

Just remember
I will be there for you.
To lift you back up,
To give you a tighter grip,
To encourage you,
To cry with you,
To help you see the beauty of life.
And just because you're lonely
It does not mean you are alone,

I didn't have the chance
To be at your side.
I didn't have the chance
To hold you in my arms.
I didn't have the chance
To really even say goodbye.

But i can only imagine
The misery you must had been feeling,
The pain you had to go through,
The heartache you had to face.

I have to look past the pain
That I am feeling inside.
And concentrate on
The fact that you're in a better place.

Your spirit could not
Control the pain no longer.
And you were finally set free.
You held on for so long,
And I am grateful for the
Times we shared,
The times we laughed,
And the times we cried.

My memories are the only thing i have left.
But those shall never fade.
Your body may be lifeless,
But your spirit will always
Be with me.
