SUMMERTIME
|
| |
Lazy hazy summer days,
unwind slowly, sun ablaze.
Colored flowers adorn each vase
Summer's back, your spirits raise
Sweetly scented air all around
Grass exploding from the ground
Bees flit busily, buzzing sound
Cat naps quietly on shady mound
Butterfly angel's colored wings
Zipping merrily, birdsong sings
Cuckoo's call like nature's kings.
Announcing loudly summer rings
Lying still while waters flow
Penetrate deep my inner soul
Sunshine,silence, tranquility
a cloak of peace my vision sees.
End of day, begins nightfall.
Sun goes down, a blazing ball
Bats emerge, they shreik and call
Summer, most beautiful season of all. |
