All rights reserved.</copyright><ttl>5</ttl><item><title>GETTING OVER YOU by Dominique Si'mone Jackson</title><description>Getting over you was the hardest decision I had to make,&lt;br&gt;But to be happy again it was a step I had to take,&lt;br&gt;I would sleep most of the day away,&lt;br&gt;Anything was better than having reality stare you in your face while you are awake,&lt;br&gt;Didn’t want to realize you'll never be mine,&lt;br&gt;For some reason in my eyes you were the light that shined,&lt;br&gt;I regret the day I fell in love with you,&lt;br&gt;All the cute and silly things you do, &lt;br&gt;You made me feel like a fool, &lt;br&gt;A fool for only wanting to give myself only to you,&lt;br&gt;Allowing no one else in, &lt;br&gt;All I have left is the ones closest of kin and my best friend,&lt;br&gt;You have placed a shadow over my heart,&lt;br&gt;Now the pit of my soul is nothing but dark,&lt;br&gt;You took the glow from within,&lt;br&gt;I feel so bad as if to love is a sin,&lt;br&gt;But that’s when I have to turn to the person within, &lt;br&gt;When I can call on no one else to be a friend,&lt;br&gt;It was a web of deceit, &lt;br&gt;But as well as I know what you sow you will reap,&lt;br&gt;Getting over you is the best thing I could ever do,&lt;br&gt;So I dry my eyes and say goodbye to you.&lt;br&gt;</description><link>http://www.voicesnet.org/displayonepoem.aspx?poemid=57793</link><pubDate>6/7/2004</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
