good, and some have been bad.
Many choices I've made in the face of temptation,
None easily made or without hesitation.

Though all seemed right at the time they were made,
I had no way to know that many were forbade.
At the time they were made I was the lamb that was lost,
Falling prey to the wolves, I suffered great loss.

But as God has known since the beginning of time,
Twas the way He would bring me to this destiny of mine.
He knew in the end, His love would win out,
Bad thoughts in my mind, He'd block them all out.

Though He knew I would stray, it would not be for long,
For He knew in the end I'd be singing His song.
He knew that His love was deep in my heart,
And He knew that we're friends, and that we'd never part.

So, with His love rekindled, burning deep in my soul,
My problems will dwindle, He has made me whole.
And though I've no way to know what life will bring,
A glorious new song my heart will sing.

For God's love will win out over all of the rest,
His sights set high, He'll make me the best.
I've found my way back, I've finally come home,
And I hope and I pray, no more will I roam.

MY LONG ROAD HOME by John Edward Edward Reardon

Satan begone from this heart of mine,
For I'll know not what you do.
Christ is my Savior and Lord of mine,
So I'll be in the chosen few.
I know I must face all the evil temptation,
That comes from the hands of thee,
But with His love in my heart and Spirit as guide,
I know I'll truly be free.
You cannot win out, you're doomed to fail,
No matter how hard you try,
Though I may even stray and certainly go wrong,
And I may even make Him cry.
He'll judge me not on all that I do,
But only on the good that I try.
THIS GOOD FRIEND OF MINE by John Edward Reardon

I have this friend He is my guru,
He's interested in me and everything I do,
And whenever I'm troubled and I need to talk,
Like a true friend He's there and we take a long walk.
No problem's too big, no problem's too small,
He's always there to answer my call.
And His wisdom seems limitless, spanning all time,
And He's helped countless people this good friend of mine,
So we've grown very close, like a father and son,
And He's always there for me to lean on.
He's forever in my heart and forever in my mind,
And His name is Christ Jesus this good friend of mine.

THE CALL OF GOD by John Edward Reardon

He calls to me from Heaven above,
His melodious words speak of His love.
Across the wind His voice does sing,
Beckoning to me my heart to bring.
He sings to my heart in a voice unsounding,
My love is pure, it is never doubting.
Come jouin me He says, come hear and stay,
And My love will be yours wherever you pray.
So heed my words and listen well,
For I want you in Heaven and not in hell.
So come to me through Christ My Son,
And your struggle over death you will have won.
CHRIST'S LOVE FOR MAN by John Edward Reardon

Christ was born one Christmas day,
And rose one Easter morn.
To take our sins unto Himself,
So we may be re-born.
He loves us one and loves us all,
His love will never die.
But when we sin and turn away,
That's when we make Him cry.
For God forgives and forgets,
All that we have done,
For He loves and wants to help us,
And make us all as one.
CHRIST THE SAVIOR by John Edward Reardon

When all is lost do not despair,
For Christ the Savior wil be there.
To love and guide us when we need,
To plant His love like a seed.
A seed that grows in us each day,
To nourish the love we know will stay.
So love and follow Christ the Son,
And He will make us all as one.
