All rights reserved.</copyright><ttl>5</ttl><item><title>HERE YOU ARE, WITHIN ME by Sarah Louise Hudson</title><description>Here you are, within me. &lt;br&gt;A little human being &lt;br&gt;growing inside. &lt;br&gt;Skin and bone, &lt;br&gt;heart and soul. &lt;br&gt;My eyes and your fathers smile. &lt;br&gt;You move me. &lt;br&gt;You make me glow. &lt;br&gt;I can't wait to hold your tiny hand. &lt;br&gt;You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. &lt;br&gt;My little miracle. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Here you are, within me. &lt;br&gt;A little human being &lt;br&gt;growing inside, &lt;br&gt;but not in my womb. &lt;br&gt;Just in my heart. &lt;br&gt;Just in my head.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;© Sarah Louise Hudson</description><link>http://www.voicesnet.org/displayonepoem.aspx?poemid=96255</link><pubDate>2/25/2006</pubDate></item><item><title>Abused by you by Sarah Louise Hudson</title><description> &lt;br&gt;Through my life I had been pushed and shoved, &lt;br&gt;I felt so desperate to be loved. &lt;br&gt;Wanting someone to hold me close, &lt;br&gt;needing a lot more love than most. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Along you came and saved my skin, &lt;br&gt;I did not wonder where you had been, &lt;br&gt;It did not matter what you had done, &lt;br&gt;so you knew then that you had won. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Another weakling to control, &lt;br&gt;and you knew that I would bare my soul. &lt;br&gt;Then you could play on my weakness, &lt;br&gt;make me believe I was useless. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Abused by you, but could not see, &lt;br&gt;the sick way that you treated me. &lt;br&gt;Controlling me through every day, &lt;br&gt;I thought life should be lived your way. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Until one day I answered back, &lt;br&gt;I felt I did not need that flack. &lt;br&gt;You pressed your thumbs hard on my throat, &lt;br&gt;breathlessly, I began to choke. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Afterwards you apologized, &lt;br&gt;I saw you scared you would be chastised. &lt;br&gt;You said it all had been my fault, &lt;br&gt;How did I drive you to assault? &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So that is when I walked away, &lt;br&gt;scared you would repeat that hurtful day. &lt;br&gt;Found out it was not your first time, &lt;br&gt;now you would pay for all your crimes. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I testified to what you had done, &lt;br&gt;no longer could you think you'd won. &lt;br&gt;Finally I felt I was free, &lt;br&gt;and looking back I now can see. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Through my life I had been pushed and shoved, &lt;br&gt;I felt so desperate to be loved. &lt;br&gt;Wanting someone to hold me close, &lt;br&gt;needing a lot more love than most. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Along you came and changed my skin, &lt;br&gt;I should have wondered where you had been. &lt;br&gt;It proved to matter what you had done, &lt;br&gt;but I am out now and I have won!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;© Sarah Louise Hudson</description><link>http://www.voicesnet.org/displayonepoem.aspx?poemid=105430</link><pubDate>11/21/2006</pubDate></item><item><title>You!
