Ryynänen

I am just a faceless name
a tarnished picture on the deaths wall
another lost soul hanging in danger
and now in my last days it is getting dark
darker than it has ever been

even I have lost my keys to this life
somewhere in the brooding shadows
behind the long lost light
I haven’t lost my hope
cos I am carrying this firing and burning hate
when I try to open my minds rusty gate

now give me a good reason
under this dusky cold season
cos this heavy burden I am carrying
crushing me down
and all that sweet false talk brings me around

just tell me when do I learn
tell me why do I always keep on going
to the wrong side
cos there is nowhere to hide

I just want some peace
and I want to be free
from my dreary haunting memories
I just hate paddling in my minds cold muddy water
and I know there is nowhere to go
only one way down

so have I lost my hope
no not until I lose my grip
from this life’s oily rope

just show me my rising sun
and my shining blue moon
cos this our moment
is ending far too soon

Long lost firing light by Janne Antero Ryynänen

Sleep well my darling
can you feel when
the shadows are crawling
I wipe your tears
and take away your darkest fears

I tuck you in and take
you into my dreams
and let´s fall through the sunbeams

I turn the lights off
I kiss you soft
lets close our eyes
and lets fly over the skies

that feeling makes
my mind running wild
inside of me
I find that long lost child

I am pointing to the mysterious sky
let me lead you all the way up
so let’s fly high

my minds curtains are closed
I can´t see the light
which my thoughts dark ice
reflects back inside to my weeping soul
and burst that to pieces

it´s a long way down
so baby please stick around

hold me tight
let’s find that bright firing light
and end this endless depressing long Ryynänen

My ancient nemesis
my past whispering memory
hunts me down
under this glowing sun

here I finally see
this is no ones land
this hard ground
and this soft sand
where this life makes
us so faceless

what life is supposed to be
what I am supposed to see

where does the truth lie
why does my destiny hide
why does my hope keep dying

I hate when these
gloom city lights
hits into my eyes
showing all these tearful lies

and everyday in my mind
yesterday takes
over tomorrow
and today is gone

the dark side of my mind
never leaves me alone

it rises even from the deep ground
coming out from
this dark motherland
it takes everything
even from the dry sand

just open my eyes
and let me see
your beautiful dreams
cos I have cried all
my longing tears
and finally take away
my darkest fears

Stone cold destiny by Janne Antero Ryynänen

Under these crumbling hills
I met my nemesis
I knew this was my destiny

dirty rain falls
and sky is crying last
longing memories

the truth is gone
life´s hard road
was far too long

all this been written
by deaths pen
so end is here before
I can tell

now when it`s time to feel sorrow
it´s also time to feel pain

it was all that
when I was walking
on this life´s dry
smoky rusty road
where I cried my
last aching tears
showing all my darkest fears

now I just sleep away
clean my thoughts
and fly my mind
through the sunny days

before I am diving
into this dark soil
where this sand
is burning my soul

now just look into our eyes
look what we have become

stone cold
nowhere to Ryynänen

In hora mortis nostrae
labuntur anni

I lay down to sleep
In my dreams I see
these empty streets
and these shallow graves

am I dreaming?
even it feels
like I am awake

why do I hear these lies?
even I know
people are
telling the truth

now this is the time
when hope will disappear
to the human voices
and echoing noises

I am under the collapsing moon
listening that horrible tune
time has come to the end

when and who
open heavens gate
before it is too late

we are heading
for an early grave
but now I just
wanna be save

in the end I am looking
at your eyes so cold
and so deep
but now we
have promises to keep

listen, watch, be silent if you
wish to live in peace

after the darkness
comes light

credo Ryynänen

Omne nimium nocet
Omne animal se
ipsum diligit

Shiny bird flew across the sky
no one knew was that true or lie

It didn’t seem right
cos it was all
a metallic black and white

I was looking to the sky
which was so bright and so high

That hideous noise
was ripping us a part
That was a doomsdays start

The sky was turning
flaming red
and it was hard to get up
from the bed

Oh how much
I hate this feeling
when I see my
blood on the ceiling

and I hear that hideous
distant screaming machine

Vanitas vanitatum
Vive memor leti
Pulvis et umbra Ryynänen

Do you ever hear my words
which I yell out from the shadow
do you then feel my weeping sorrow

can you look into my eyes
when the burning sky is falling
and my echoing voice is calling

can you also feel
when the dark cold wind
is whispering to my ears
telling story about broken dreams

can you hear when
the shattering glass
is dropping
on the bloody grass

oh I wish I could
escape to my dreams
where I could finally disappear
to the longing memories
and smile just for a while
only just for a while

cos this world is making
me feel so small
and I just hope
that in my dreams
I could finally stand tall
and smile just for a while
only just for a Ryynänen

Another time
and another place
I might feel free

but now
the shadows
in my mind
are getting longer

I was walking
through the light
I was heading back
to the darkness

and there I was
hanging on the cross
feeling a huge loss

cos this life has
betrayed me
once again

I got lost under this
darkening sky
and it is getting
darker than it
has ever been

we bleed and
we cry
under these black
flaming red clouds

this burning rain
is falling down
making all of us
feel so vain

the ground
I am standing
is whispering
to me and begging
to dig deep in
and asking me
to make my final move

but I am hoping
once more again
how can I see
the white cloudy sky
which was so bright
and so high

I only want to be sure
before I do
my final move

have I really lost my hope
which used to be tight as a
sanity and honesty

then I can show you
my dreams and my reality

and then you can tell me
what is really wrong
and for how long

before I reach
my happiness
and when
my reality
equals my dreams

let me know how
deep is your love
let me know how is
your inner peace

show me your kindness
and your humanity
and where is your sanity

tell me about your dreams
and your reality

don’t twist the truth
and look into my eyes
and stop telling
those stupid lies

only then I can tell
how our dreams
comes reality

Vincit omnia veritas (part 2)

Ego sum qui sum
cogito, ergo sum
dum spiro, Ryynänen

We open our eyes
to close them again
when we see this
beautiful thing

I cry my endless
happy tears
cos I am finally
free from
all of my darkest fears

I am listening
humming voice
of the rising sun
and I turn my head to feel
warm blowing wind

and finally when
I open my eyes
they have gone
frozen blind
and I have lost
my smile so kind

I have lost my
hearing from my ears
and I taste my
flowing bloody tears

on my face
I feel the agony
of the approaching dead
when he is carrying me
on his deep sandy bed
LAST FALL BEFORE THE END by Janne Antero Ryynänen

There is a hole
in my sky
and in there
I am finally
going to dive

when falling down
this yelling pain
gets into me
when I hit
into the deep see

my memory
is still sharp
and it cuts deep
even I am falling
into the nightmares
and an unbreakable sleep

everything just
keeps fading away
when I finally
open my eyes
and I hear this
unbearable lie
about my life

so last time
I am asking

can you show me
how deep is the hole
and how can
I finally reach
the final goal

maybe you
have been right
all that time

when you say

life can be hard
it smacks
into your face
once or twice
without warning

but now I have
lost my soul
and I have
lost my wings

and feels like
I am disappearing
into deep snow
and from there
I have
nowhere to go

so please before the end
can I hear your
last whisper from your lips
when this falling
sand is crushing my rips

but even still I believe
end is there
where everything
begins all over Ryynänen

I am falling
into the
whispering shadows
I am
disappearing
into the
silent voice

I lay down
to sleep
without closing
my eyes
cos I am having my
true life nightmare

I am the ghost
of my time
the dark memory
from the past

and in the
end of my time
I will fall
into the grace

there I know
the truth
about
