Can we continue to grow

Or are we done, this is the end

I have lost not only a girlfriend but also a friend

To quote a quote on this tragic theme

A moonlit night, a moon's bright beam

Neither here, nor neither there

Such stars will twinkle everywhere

If each of us are to have a star

No matter how near nor how far

And if then there is a star for you,

than you shall ever more have my cries were in vain

No stars did not hear, my deep cutting pain

I have screwed up again and lost the one that I love

And once again I talk to stars, way high up above

When will I learn, when will it cease

When can I keep love, and with it, some peace

This time it was different

My love was so true

My verbal abuse, hid that true love from you

You know that I am sorry

For all that I did, I don't know why there were those cruel words I said

I guess it is too late, no sorry will do

For all of my life, I will feel love for you

You were the best, I should have made you my wife

It would not have mattered, for I needed help in my life

I hoped that as friends, our feelings would grow

But I still hear that answer, that answer is no

I don't know what to do

Help me to know, again I cry for stars, but no answer will show

The days they are long and filled with such pain

I had hoped that with you,..I would never see this again

STARS by Sasha Hart

Twinkle there little star
you seemed so near, yet were still so far
did you hear my screams of painful remorse?
then hear my pleasure for its due course
five years ago, I thought I'd die
for that I am grateful, people would wonder why
you live in life, you learn in love
you cry for answers from stars above
to learn some lessons you must take some pain
but not to worry, love does come again

Bailout 2008 by Sasha Hart

Like a bloodied warrior,
laying broken and torn.

Like a dying soldier, hopeless and forlorn.

But the blood, it be green,
the color of money.

And the soldier is an economy,
and it is anything but funny.

Broken are it's people and shattered are their dreams.

Thanks to the ultra rich and their full proof schemes.

It is a tragedy with more pain to come.

Finance will be Hell, and their wills uncontested, without compromise,

is what we see when we look into our lovely pets
eyes.

The way they adore us, with love to no end,

is the reason we call them Man's bestfriend.

With tails a wagging and affection to spare,

makes them so easy to cuddle despite all their hair.

We treat them like children and adorn them with toys

trust that they will play and protect,

our own girls and boys.

God gave us dogs so that we may know,

the unconditional love,

that only a pet can show.

STARS DEUX by Sasha Hart

Hands on ears for
